Our history
Domenick Macri, Sr. founded Macri Associates Consulting after a 22-year career in wealth management, where he advised clients while actively volunteering with local nonprofits. Through his work, he recognized that traditional consulting firms often failed to provide the tailored support nonprofits needed to drive real change. In 2022, he transitioned from wealth management to the nonprofit sector, quickly realizing that his expertise was in high demand. Rather than focusing on a single organization, Domenick saw an opportunity to make a broader impact by advising multiple nonprofits from an external perspective.
Although his professional background is rooted in wealth management, family office management, and financial planning, Domenick has been deeply involved in nonprofit leadership since 2005, when he joined the Neighborhood House Inc. Board of Directors and was trained in the Benevon Fundraising model. His dynamic personality, strategic messaging, and strong network consistently led to him being asked to chair development committees.
As a wealth planner, Domenick collaborated with specialized teams to develop customized financial plans, helping clients navigate complex financial landscapes.
His expertise spans entrepreneurship, nonprofit management, leadership consulting, trust administration, retirement and education planning, charitable giving, and wealth transfer strategies. He has advised high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, business owners, corporate executives, endowments, and foundations, simplifying financial complexities through strategic planning and risk management. He also serves as an Independent Trustee and Trust Protector for select clients.
Domenick remains highly engaged in the community, serving as President of both the Palm Beach Estate Planning Council and the Penn Wood Foundation. His past leadership roles include President of the Families First of Palm Beach County Foundation, board member for Vita Nova Inc. operations and foundation boards, Chair of Suits for Seniors, and involvement with the Pink Queen Foundation and Leadership Palm Beach County (Class of 2021)
